Ponderosa Lemon Tree
Ponderosa Lemon Trees (Citrus x Limon ‘Ponderosa’) bear extra large citrus fruits the size of a grapefruit but with the taste of a lemon. Although no one knows, this tree is likely a hybrid between a citron and a lemon tree. Since the Ponderosa Lemon tree is susceptible to frost and the cold, they only thrive in hardiness zones 9 to 11. Understandably, they are often grown indoors as houseplants.
