Full Speed A Hedge® American Pillar Arborvitae Trees are fast-growing trees that can be planted as mid-sized privacy trees. American Pillars are evergreen and will provide year-round interest in your landscape. They have a similar shape to the thuja occidentalis and are very deer-resistant.
The Full Speed A Hedge® American Pillar variety is dense and easily used to buffer your yard from the rest of the world. This fast-growing privacy tree grows up to 3 feet per year, up to a total mature size of 15 to 20 feet tall and 3 to 5 feet wide. It naturally maintains its columnar shape with little to no pruning. Spacing the trees at 3 to 4 feet apart will create a privacy hedge quickly, but they can be spaced up to 6 feet apart.
