Black Mission Fig Tree
Black Mission Fig trees are adored for their easy-to-care-for nature. These fig trees produce a uniquely sweet-tasting fruit with excellent texture for a delicious treat. Unlike most fruit trees, Black Mission Fig trees fruit much earlier than other fig trees and provide two harvests per year. You will typically harvest ripe fruit in early spring and early fall.
Black Mission Fig trees can grow upwards of 30 feet tall. However, with the proper pruning, you can keep your tree as small as you desire. Be sure to plant your tree in full sun to part shade, but make sure it receives at least 4 hours of direct sunlight each day for best fruiting. Plant fig trees in well-draining soil conditions and give them plenty of space for good air circulation. This fruit tree will provide years and years of multi-crop harvests.
